Welcome to the SFMRG Maintenance site. If you have volunteered to help with grounds maintenance, we can't thank you enough. The following pages will contain information specific to each of the areas. This information is kept up to date as much as possible. If you think it is not up to date, please let one of the SFMRG Board of Directors know.
Simple rules to work by:
1. BE SAFE!! If you intend to do maintenance on the grounds, please make sure someone knows, and that you use reasonable judgement relating to equipment capabilities and safety. It is not worth the outcome of getting yourself or a dog injured.
2. Always use the correct fuel for each piece of equipment. The only piece of equipment that uses diesel fuel is the large John Deere tractor/bush hog. All other equipment such as the John Deere Zero turn or the Ventrac all use unleaded gasoline.
3. If you do some work on the grounds, please let someone on the SFMRG BoD know via email or text so that the maintenance pages can be updated. This will help us coordinate what needs to be accomplished.
4. If you are anywhere on the grounds and see something dangerous, odd, or wrong, on land or in the water, please notify a member of the SFMRG BoD immediately. We do not want to leave any types of issue unattended, they may adversely impact others coming in after you.
