Membership
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Steve Ferguson Memorial Retriever Grounds, Inc.
SMFRG was founded by the three clubs of which Steve was a member; Blue Ridge Retriever Club, Mid-Atlantic Hunting Retriever Club, and Tidewater Retriever Club. Members of these clubs are SFMRG Officers, Board Members and members. Membership in one of these three clubs, combined with an SFMRG membership provides additional training days, priority RV camping during events, and of course the privilege of working at the event! If you are not already, SFMRG encourages you to become a member of at least one of the founding clubs. |
You must be a member of SFMRG to reserve training areas or camping spots. The membership period is from January 1st to December 31st. New members can join after October 1st and get the balance of the current year and the next year for the one year membership fee. Join now to get the most out of your membership!
SFMRG uses the definition of an Amateur as specified in the AKC Standing Recommendations of the Retriever Advisory Board: For the purposes of eligibility of a person to compete in an Amateur All-Age Stake, the time period applicable shall be one year preceding the trial in question.
